Thursday, 7th July 2016 – Barakah The Prince, formerly known as ‘Barakah Da Prince’, has signed a full rights multi-year worldwide deal with the leading Pan African music entertainment group ROCKSTAR4000, and joins the company’s dynamic Record Label and Management divisions respectively.

Barakah The Prince first priority will be to be to record his highly anticipated debut commercial album set for release in 2017. He has already started creating several singles he’s wanted to pen down and record since his earlier childhood years. Barakah The Prince will be the third artist from Tanzania to sign a full rights multi-year deal with ROCKSTAR4000 alongside East African superstars Alikiba (King Kiba) and Lady Jaydee (Queen Jide) making him the ‘Prince’ to this leading Pan African music entertainment company and ‘royal family’ of some of Africa’s biggest Rockstars.
In a very short career to date, Barakah The Prince has already achieved stellar success with three ofhis recent singles - “Siachani Nawe”, “Nivumilie” and “Siwezi” - all charting straight to number one in Tanzania across both radio and TV charts making him the fastest rising star of the year in East Africa and the “Artist to Watch” as highlighted by music channel MTV base. Barakah The Prince continues to earn No. 1 singles on media charts and in addition received the accolade of walking away with the coveted trophy at the Kilimanjaro Tanzania Music Award for ‘Best Upcoming Artist in 2015’.
